TWOLITREmedia Presents: "Oh My God! I Shot myself!!! ;-) "
Ok so this shoot has been a long time coming too say the least considering it took me 2 and a half painstaking years too get the money up and put the build together. I am pleased to finally present my 1999 EK hatch! I know the majority of you saw it in my Honda-Tech pics from Toronto so this probably isnt news but too anyone who didn't, here is the semi-finished product (We know they're never done)
The only things that have changed since Honda-Tech is basically new axles (because I broke one on the way back from TO that weekend:cool and a full header back exhaust replacement. I picked up an authentic Jun header too replace my power robbing 1 3/4" DC Sports header with the tiniest collector I've ever seen, a high-flow Type R cat, and a full cat-back stainless Yonaka Greddy SP2 replica 2.5". The thing sound absolutely preemo now, and it got rid of all the shitty raspyness of the old Magnaflow. I Also raised the car 3/4 of an inch too be able too have a little more fun and use the suspension for what I bought it for. The car is now e-tested and saftied, on the road with a sticker as well!
Anyways before I post the pictures I'de just like too shout out a HUGE thanks too anyone and EVERYONE who helped along the way with this project you all know who you are. Even the smallest encounters I've had such as picking up a part from someone random, or whatever, it's all helped the car progress in the long run (Except the guy who sold me those axles and half shaft!!! Damn you :lol
Well I know already this post will be a hate it or love it type of thing with the car so all comments and criticism is welcome except for "DUMPPP ITT MOARRR." I Had it dumped more, loved the look, but functionality got thrown out the window and I did not spend all this time too build a dis-functional car. Other then that I know the other things that will be said "Un-pop the wing!" "Get a new lip!" "You need different wheeeeellss!" With all that being said I made this car my own, with parts I don't see on EVERY other EK. Anything I saw that was different I grabbed, there are definitely some major plans already in the work for the winter such as paint in the spring, full motor build, and a couple of exterior and interior changes and additions so keep an eye out.
I'll stop talking now, as per usual comments and criticisms always welcome for my photography! This shoot was done for a class project in Graphic Design that I had too do on-top of my own personal use hence the thoroughness of the pictures. I was happy with most of them but the colour balance was out in some due too the time of day I was shooting.
Full resolution images can be found on my FlickR:

Enjoy!
Now with my mac I have also been editing a lot of video, and have another project for my course due on Friday in which I'm making a commentated video about my car and why it means so much too me so keep an eye out for that! It kinda goes hand and hand with this set, as it was shot at the same time! TWOLITREmedia does proper video soon!

The wheels don't look like they belong on that car for some reason and the slant on the wing is too extreme (for my tastes), other than that the car looks pretty good. The shots are great though, can't wait to see the video.

Thanks for all the comments guys! Positive or negative it's all good, like I said I already had predictions of what the comments would be, but as long as you all enjoyed the photography at least that's all that matters :-)
Look out for the video corresponding with this shoot soon!

Yeh when I raised up the car a bit after the exhaust I noticed the front came up a bit more than the back. I will be fully corner weighting the car next year when I re-tune the suspension. I have camber kits on the way as well so a lot of dynamics will change in the suspension.
Thanks for the positive comments guys, and the not soo positive, I appreciate it all!
