That's a seriously low blow. Was he just doing it to be a jerk?
Sorry to push the thread off-topic, but man that's a dick-move.

To keep the thread on-topic, I'll post up an older setup.

Wheels: SSR Schumachers
Specs (i.e. size, width, offsets): 16x8 +37 15mm spacer on front wheels to clear brake calipers
Tire specs: 225/50/16 Dunlop Direzza Z1 Star Spec
Suspension setup: HKS Hypermax RS w/ Swift Springs
Camber specs: (-3) front (-1) rear
Additional comments about your setup: The ride is definitely track-derived, so it's far from a stock comfort level. The front fender liners have been 75% removed, leaving the rear lower portions for road debris damage control. The front fenders are slightly rolled, but experienced little to no rubbing, even on hard turning/braking. They rear quarter panels are rolled and also shaved, but tire rubbing still happens on harder impacts.

toyomatt what brake calipers do you have and did you use a studded spacer or extended studs?

Thinking of buying a wilwood front bbk and wondering how these studded spacers are working for you guys

Front Brake calipers: Acura Legend shaved for clearances and mounting
Front Brake rotors: Re-drilled TSX rotors (4x100)

I used a studded spacer (actually it was a bolt pattern adapter plate, but the effect was the same since the wheels were multi-pattern). I wouldn't recommend them for track use, but daily commuting they should do fine.

sorry to quote, but do you have a pic of your fender liners with just the rear section? TIA.

Wheels: Kosie K1 TS
Specs (i.e. size, width, offsets): 15x7", +38 offset
Tire specs: 205/50-15 Bridgestone Potenza Re-11's
Suspension setup: Eibach Sportline Springs and pro Dampers
Camber specs: -.75* in the front, -1.5* in the rear
Additional comments about your setup: Had to roll the fenders a decent amount in the rear. The fronts rolled themselves on the tires lol. Rubs the fenderliners pretty good. big holes in mine and also rubs at full lock as well. the ride is SUPERB though and the handling is great for DD'ing. i'm gonna be switchin to 375/350 GC's in a few months though.

Sadly, I do not. But, this picture sort of demonstrates what I've done (not my car).

Last ditch effort to keep this thread going. (I don't have anymore setups to go from, really. )

Wheels: Work Ewing RS-Betas (one piece, not three-piece)
Specs (i.e. size, width, offsets): 16x8 +35 (no spacers needed for these)
Tire specs: 245/45/16 Hankook Ventus RS-2
Suspension setup: HKS Hypermax RS w/ Swift Springs
Camber specs: (-3.6) front (-1.8) rear
Additional comments about your setup: The tire rubbing is more profound in the rear then before... but I had the car corner balanced for this setup, and it's slightly raised in the rear compared to before. I don't think the Ventus' provide nearly as much grip as the Star Specs did, sadly. Even worn, the Star Specs seemed to have better grip on the same suspension setup (tried the used Star Specs on the current suspension settings after corner balancing, as well).

good golly those are some huge meats. Is that the same tire diameter as stock? Why not run 245/40-16 so as to not rub as much?

come on kev.

Wheels: enkei rpf1's
Specs (i.e. size, width, offsets): 16x7 +35
Tire specs: 205/45/16 yokohama
Suspension setup:
KYB AGX's Skunk2 coilover sleeves
Camber specs:
(-2) front (-2) rear
Additional comments about your setup:
great setup for a pretty low setting. still had some of play in the struts and suspension settings. no rubbing or fender work needed for the wheels. it was a while back so i cant fully remember how it rode at the time. will say it was still a solid dd setup with little irritability to get to and from

I'm serious. Honda has really ****ed up the last 8-9 years.

Damn justin that looked so good on the 16 inch enkei's. Perfect, not slammed but just right. How come you dont get rid of the skunk2 coils and get some GC's.

Suspension setup: pic selects, 10k front and 14k rear

It's definitely oversized for the car, but the sad part is... there's no offering in 245/40/16's. My car lives in a realm of little to no tire options, since I'm not a huge fan of 17's on the car. I don't mind the rub, I can assure you (although it does get some funny looks when out driving the car and smoke sometimes comes from the quarter panels).

Thanks bud. It was fun hanging out with the RSX chaps that day, even though I was a lone-EM2 in a field of RSX's. I've got 2 starters to test now, to hopefully fix the starting issues I had that day.

Yes sir. They weren't connected to the brake shields for the photos, as I didn't have a chance to run piping yet.

Good info in this thread. I'll post up my old RSX setup cause people always asked about it. Got a new setup on a different car coming soon I'll post that up when its done.

Wheels: Enkie RPF-1 SBC Finish
Specs (i.e. size, width, offsets): 17x9.5 +18 all around
Tire specs: 215/40/17 Federal SS595
Suspension setup: Function and Form Type II's
Camber specs: Around -3.5 Front and Rear
Additional comments about your setup: Rear fenders are rolled and pulled and front fender just hammered tab for the fender liner and cut a small section out but was still running them.

Not really.... Dented molding, rear drums, stock smoking single cam, rattle canned engine bay and all kinds of flaws here and there. It photographs well, but seriously isn't that nice in person I promise.

For a car 15+ years old, those are really small problems to have. And, to be fair, the only way someone could tell that the bay was rattle-canned is if they were a professional painter or you told them before-hand. Be proud of the car, bud. It's definitely worth being proud of.
