I would keep trying to just unscrew it, tighten and screw it in a couple times. Super glue doesnt hold all that well, how do i know? ive tried doing it a thousand times to glue my shifter ****, but i wont hold. another thing you could do is take out the entire **** and shifter flip it upside down and pour nail polish enamel down the shift **** to loosten up the glue.
