I agree. I like a little stretch when needed, but it just looks awkward when the stretch isn't needed at all.

Haylex, you're running stock camber front and back? I ran a 15x8 +15 on my old EG with a 195/50 and it poked out way too far in the front. Even though its a 10mm difference, I feel like a +25 would still poke in the front. I noticed your front fenders are also pulled a bit.

Yes factory camber front and back. Prehaps your bushes were in not so good condition. It shouldnt poke at all, but everything depends on how high your car is. Front fenders were ever so slightly pulled, just with my hands. Nothing worth listing as a spec, they were very close to factory - EG fenders have a bit of a flare stock.

its crazy to me that it fits that good. especially with a 205/50. I had an EG hatch about a year ago and tried to fit some XXR 501's on it which are 15x8 +15 running a 195/50/15 and the front poked sooo much. Even though they stick out 10mm more than a +25 would, it still seems that a +25 with a 205/50 would definitely poke/rub like crazy in the front. Pic for reference:

Wow. There are 3 important things you need to fix in that picture:
- Negative camber. Get some.
- Lower. More of it.
- Fenders. Roll and pull.
You can't just bolt some wheels on and expect to have that flush fitment that everyone else has. I'm looking into going low offset soon myself, but those are the basics that you should understand before even buying wheels.
A 205/40 is a much better tire choice also. Bigger contact patch, yet more room in the wheel well, since it isn't as tall.

haha yeah keep in mind that was over a year ago when I didn't know what I was doing. I've had 2 other cars since then that I stanced much better. I look back on that picture and wonder what the hell I was thinking. I sold my TDI about 2 months ago, this is how it sat when I sold it:

stance is whatever YOU choose. it can be tucked, slammed, or flush.. why do you need a pic request when there are forums loaded with info on wheels, stance.

I want a picture to see how these specific wheels look on an EG hatch you don't need to define stance for me. If you don't have anything helpful to say then don't say anything at all.

Alright so I figured I'd post up here since no one seems to run these on EG/EJ's. I'm super happy with these. Fitment is perfect, no camber adjustments needed, recommended tire size works fine. Overall, these wheels are ****.
I went with a cheap set of tires. $280 mounted/balanced out the door haha. Super cheap. Falken ZE-502 in 195/50/15. Mild stretch, looks perfect on these wheels.
Fender rolling is an absolute necessity to make these wheels work. Rolled front and back and a very minor pull in the front. My fender roller tool actually kinda pushed the fender out a bit while I was rolling them so it gave them a subtle pull, makes front fitment perfect though. I modified the fender liners by cutting out the top section and leaving the front and back section for debris protection. Some take them out completely, but I didn't really wanna do that.
As for rubbing, I had zero issues with rubbing in the back and I only mildly rubbed once in the front during a turn which bumped a bit, going pretty fast too.
For anyone interested, I am on Function&Form Type 1's with well over an inch left to go lower front and back.
Anyways, some of you are probably dying for pictures by this point. I left my camera at home so I only have shitty cell phone pics for now, but I will update this post with better high quality pics within the next day or two (if you guys want).

Cubby, those look great! I'd like to see the tire a little closer to the fenders, but all in all you did a great job. *thumbs up*
