thanks guys, keep em coming. How is the sound of this exhaust? I heard it gets a little louder as the exhaust gets older, is this true?

I just bought one off ebay- one of the last ones the guy had. It's the new stainless model . I think the flash on my camera is broken so the pics came out a little dark and big but you get the idea. I'll have more once I install it along with my spoon header

Re: (Markland Photo)
it looks sooo clean. I just looked on ebay and one of the ads said that RSR will no longer be producing exhaust systems!?! Does anybody know if this is true?!

Re: (d-man88)
They are not manufacturing any more of these exhaust systems
The ones that suppliers have are the last ones since no more are being made

I paid $500 for mines shipped- you can't just buy the muffler so you need to buy the whole thing.
My friend (who is a welder) and I sat down and looked over the exhaust and he said the welds on it were absolutely beautiful. I think it is worth it but if you don't have the dough, the Apexi Ws2 is similar and about twenty or thirty bucks less

Wow, thats a shame that they arent making any more3 of these exhausts. I wonder what the reason is? I think im going to buy one cause the price is only going to go higher on these things.

the reason they are out of production is because japan has a new law passed that outlaws aftermarket exhaust systems I believe. And HELL yes the exhaust is worth it. 500 bucks? What aftermarket system dosent cost that much? I have owned 2 of these ex mags systems, 1 on my crx and one on my ek hatch and i know I will never buy anything different.

just go to youtube and listen for some sound clips. Its quiet but at the same time it sounds deep, kinda like a g35 or something ?

I'm gonna say definitely a hair under 100db. Sounds similar to an apexi ws2. I'll have to get some clips when I install mine.

heres the best shot i have of mine. yeah, they're discontinued for some time now i believe. mine is quiet yet its noticable. its deep toned like a stock s2k. you can never get pulled over for this thing and i love it.

hey donut. how and why does your rsr hang lower from the bumper than my ek? Mine is like 10 sheets of paper away from rubbing. Did you use long exhaust rubber hangers?
