PIC Request: EBP EJ8 w/o EM1 front end conversion
Posy your custom painted EBP EJ8s here with no front end conversion. I want to see how close it will look to an em1 since I do not see what people mean by the face lift the SI has compared to ex and dx coupes. Since my friend also has a black 2000 EX coupe he is planning on getting painted EBP without the front end conversion. He already has EM1 wheels and everything is stock, its just his DD.

Would these cut it? It's and EDM EJ6 but looks like an EJ8 for USDM, I think.

Well for 96-98, its kinda obvious since there is no foglight mounts on the bumper. But nice EJ6, having that decal, you better have a swapped V-Tec motor under the hood. LOL anyways anyone else that has an EJ8, 99-00 civic ex/dx coupe that is EBP.
and nice retro fitted headlights too
Btw Did you get all the jambs and engine bay painted?

Re: PIC Request: EBP EJ8 w/o EM1 front end conversion
Okay hold up.
1) I must be confused, never understood chassis codes. If I remember correctly EJ8 was just EX's anywhere between 96-00. I posted that blue Ej6 because it had a sunroof which is close to resemble an EX, lol.
2) That's not EBP, my bad, that's the NSX color
3) That's not my car
4) What do you mean by front end conversion? There is no front end conversion from 99-00 to 99-00 SI afaik, unless you're referring to SI mesh grill, foglights and lip... Because foglights and lips were accessory options at the dealer I believe and could've been applied to the lower trims if requested?

EJ6 = 96-00 Civic with D16Y7 motor. Non-vtec. That would be the DX and LX.
EJ8 = 96-00 Civic with D16Y8 motor. Vtec. That would be the EX, and Canadian SI.
EJ7 = 96-00 Civic with D16Y5 motor (IIRC). Vtec-E. The CX.
EM1 = 99-00 Civic SI (US) SiR (CA)
Also, this is the tech section. This thread belongs in the appearance section.
