Power Folding Heated Mirrors & Switch - these are installed on my 94 Hatchback (as per the photo in the previous post, underneath the headlight washers / cruise control switch). There was nothing on it identifying the part number, unfortunately.

AFAIK, Honda did not manufacture an armrest/console-mounted rear fog light switch for Civics/Integras/del Sols/etc., - ie., any vehicle with a standard-sized armrest/console switch hole.

Yup, you're right. I don't have any open places on the dash for the real rear fog switch. So I'm using the armrest one as MY rear fog switch

You've got some really cool and rare stuff too!

At the risk of sounding like I am gloating, they are pretty sweet, I'm going to admit.

I might have a line on another set, if you're interested. They will likely cost you some serious coin, though, given how rare they are.

I'll have a set for EF Civics for sale within the next month.
i would like to see a video of these working because they are just amazing, never even heard of a part like this for a honda

I don't know how rare it is, or even it's even made by Honda... but does anyone on here have the rear brake light cover for the coupes that says "Civic" or "Coupe"? I remember seeing it years ago and someone saying it was rare.

Edit: DOH!

This was on page 2:

Haha, yup! Those are both mine! Another coupe guy said it took him 2 years to track down the "coupe" light.

Play nice. He said he was "not sure". He could have just as easily been talking about the power windows - these would be considered "rare" in Canada, as there are no 2/3-door Civics that came with power windows (so, more like "non-existent")... not even the 2-door Civic Si, which is a model that didn't exist in the US market.

Here, though, is some rare audio equipment for the 3-door hatchback:

JDM Gathers Optional Dual Rear Speakers
These are medium-rare. What's notable is that these are the curved type that are a direct fit for CDM/USDM vehicles. Most JDM Civics came in a 4-seater version with the trunk box, etc., meaning the quarter-panels are completely different from the CDM/USDM. I've only ever seen them in grey. I don't believe they came in black.

EDIT: There have been a couple of posts confirming that the curved Gathers rear speakers did come in black.

Status: Own & mounted. These images are not taken from my own vehicle, but you get the idea.

With cover:

Inside:

JDM Gathers Optional Centre-mounted Tweeter with Map Light
Very rare. IMO, I don't think it looks very good, so I'm not too concerned about not owning this part. I think it hangs down too low and looks funny.

Status: Don't own, not interested.

The unit:

Mounted:

JDM/CDM/USDM Optional Armrest & Audio Centre Console
These aren't really rare, but they do fall under the "optional" category. Some 4-door sedans came with a vinyl-covered armrest as standard equipment. There is such thing as a "JDM Long Armrest" which I guess was made to hold a CD-changer. Kind of outdated nowadays but useful in its day.

Status: Own a black cloth-covered armrest. Not interested in owning the JDM/CDM/USDM audio console as I am not a fan of the design. Plus, it would replace my cupholders, and I don't have a 1-din replacement cupholder mounting tray yet.

Armrest and JDM/CDM/USDM Audio Console setup:
Note that this image is for a RHD vehicle. For an LHD vehicle, the ashtray and lighter are on opposite sides. Also, there is a slight curve in the plastic moulding toward the driver's side so they are not directly exchangeable (RHD <--> LHD) without some modification. Also, often the armrest came with a cloth cover.

EDM Optional Audio Centre Console
This is pretty hard to find.

Status: I prefer this design. Note how it uses your existing ashtray and lighter locations, and has a large compartment for 'stuff' at the bottom. Am on the lookout for one in black.

EDM Audio Centre Console:

... more to come?

You also never even stated what was so "rare". And if you're not sure, then next time do some research to find out whether it actually is rare or not, instead of showing us a picture of part of your dash and door panel.

Ah, didn't realize they were so cheap now. I've had mine for a while, and I figured it was time to let them go.

Good attitude. This discussion is no place for mudslinging. Let's stick to the original topic.

Has anyone mentioned the EDM Hatchback Civics with rear seat headrests? Those are cool. Came on the ESi model. I'll try to find an image.

Edit: Here's one. But, it's all Greek to me. (ha.)
Note the body-coloured sunroof, too.

to you. I apologize for being a dick. But I'm still not sure if the door tweeters were an option on the DX's (EJ2), I know they were standard for the EX's (EJ1) though.

Mid-wing? Like one that would go on the rear windshield? I don't think that there was a factory option of something like that ever.

Door tweeters were standard on EX's in 94-95, NOT in 93. Pretty sure they werent available before then. And i dont think they were available on DX's at all.
