Was the IAB plate noticeable on a stock motor?

little do you know your criticizing someone who builds $100,000 + race cars that run in NHRA, NMCA, and also porsche club... lol so continue to flame im sure once he shows the finished product at IA in a month that your opinion will change!

This is not a $100,000 race car, so I'm not sure how that's relevant to this subject. Also, with fake parts like a 'type r style' lip and 'type r style' grill, he's not going to win much respect anywhere. Especially from people who have been in the accord game for a while.

i hardly think he's trying to win anyones respect... i mentioned the fact that he builds race cars for a living to prove the fact that it is in good hands... who cares about a knock off lip the thing is gonna get ripped off once a month anyways with the way our roads are so what would be the point of buying some over priced "jdm" lip? perhaps to impress internet fan boys to gain there approval?

<---- Rocks nothing "JDM" and hates when people say JDM this and JDM that. Rice.

However, I like quality parts. Not cheap looking knock off ****. "Type R style" parts fit into this category. OEM>eBay rice anyday.

Why do you keep bringing up what he does for a living? How does that translate into building a nice accord?? Maybe instead of buying the first thing that pops up on eBay, do some research and find out what looks best on the car. A novel concept, I know...

p.s.

A 94-95 OEM lip would look way better than a "type r style" lip. Much more durable aswell.

the only reason i brought up what he did for a living was because you were insinuating that the car was not in good hands... my point is simply that it is and if infact the lip looks shitty or doesn't fit well i know he will take it off. because of how low the car is (pictures dont do it justice) this lip being one of the smaller ones i figured it would probably be one of the better choices..

give it a few weeks and i bet ill be able to change your mind. the motor is being pulled in a week for a bay shave, custom brake lines, fuel lines, and a tuck harness

^^ Sounds great, I can't wait to see it done.

I'm not hating, I just hate to see accords get the eBay treatment. They are great cars and deserve better!

haha this is completely funny! hey hurley, have you ever done anytype of fab work, or mechanical work yourself? just curious, or are you the type that mommy and daddy spoil, and buy everything that is in import tuner or super street every month? just because a lip isnt oem, or jdm doesnt really mean shi$ to me, if i like it, ill buy it, and put it on myself! and if it isnt designed to fit, i can make it fit because thats what i do! i dont sit around all day criticizing people because of there choice of parts, if its what you like, who cares what peeps like you think! besides im sure your little toy accord sits like a 4x4 so you can buy the mugen lip, which i think is ugly, have it painted and it will last you. if i was to put that on my car, considering that my bumper is 3.5 inches from the ground already, it would be literally sitting on the ground, and undriveable!!!!! so what would i waste all that money for, just to impress you? hahaha yeaaaaaa right. why dont you impress me with something, post me a pic of the fastest car that you have ever put your hands on, and well go from there!well see what kind of quality you are capable of!
