Default Maaco in San Jose, CA area

Anyone recommend a certain Maaco around the San Francisco Bay Area, preferably the south bay? I'm looking to get my hatch painted next week, and I know that each Maaco paints differently. I'm not expecting a perfect paint job, hence why I'm going to Maaco. If each Maaco charges the same prices I'd rather go to one with a better reputation for quality. Wow, I used Maaco and quality in the same sentence.

I think the only one in San Jose, is the maaco on 80 Pullman Drive...near monterey rd. I don't have any personal experience there though.

Yeah there in one on Pullman. There is also one in Palo Alto I want to check out. That one is the only local Maaco registered with the BBB although I'm not sure if that means a whole lot.

streetlights: If you're in SJ maybe we can go to the same Maaco and get a discount/group price?

Man I really really wanted that monitor!

Probably RSX Desert Silver Metallic or some sort of grey/gunmetal.

I ended up taking it in to the Newark location. It's a pretty nice facility, hope they do a decent job. I'll posts the results when I get my car back later this week hopefully.

I believe the Newark and Pullman locations are owned by the same person. Doesn't necessarily mean they'll do a better job in Newark though.

I went with the Pewter Metallic they had.

Cool, nice choice in color
I don't think I would ever get my car painted at Maaco, but its nice to know which ones do a good job. I live right near the newark one. When its done post up some pics.

dont go to the location on pullman in san jose. That place sucks. my friend painted two of his cars there and they paint like ****. He was washing one of his cars a couple of weeks after he painted and the paint started chipping. Id only go to maaco if you dont cherish your car and plan on selling it soon.

This project car of mine is my beater car. I don't expect it to win any shows or turn heads or anything. I just need to repaint it cause I can't stand a red car. This car is my toy as I am approaching old age now.

All I care about is that there aren't any major signs of imperfections, such as major drips or runs, fish eyes and orange peel. Anything else I can live with cause it's a Maaco job in the first place.

I opted to save myself $300 bucks by not having them paint the door jambs. I figure I'll go buy a can of spraypaint that closely resembles the color I chose, or I may go with painting the door jambs black. I honestly don't care a hell of a lot about it. As long as the exterior is presentable, that's all I care about.
