Default Help me with my CTR boot

Hey eveyone,

I picked up a CTR shift boot. today. I have a slight problem it seems the boot doesn't fit. Can someone tell me how to put it on, I think I'm not doing it right.

thanks

What's up, mine didn't fit right either--what i ended up doing is taking the stock shift boot off of the metal frame it came with and replacing it with the CTR boot. So, instead of using the "CTR" frame with the boot, use the stock USDM frame with the CTR boot part. Hope this helps!

it may be that you have an ITR shift boot and in that case it won't fit PERFECTLY on your civic.

Mine fit like a glove. No modifications needed. You problably got a ITR one. Just swap the bottom part

Thanks guys! So if I have a ITR one, I just have to streach it a bit or do I have to actually get the metal frame?

remove ur boot.....
remove the actual boot from the metal framing....
remove the metal framing from the CTR boot
and swap the CTR boot onto ur stock civic metal frame.....

friend installed his CTR boot with no problem on a 99 civic cx... HB

Just as everyone says:
ITR fits the Integra and EG
CTR fits the EK
