That guy Streetwerkz has a supercharged CRX? (56k go beat up an e-thug)
Well last night I finally got together to do a photo shoot with my buddy Joe (Streetwerkz). Ever since I first saw this super-clean daily-driven CRX, I've been wanting to take some pics of it.
As you can see from the photos, he recently installed a JR supercharger on the singlecam non-vtec motor. The car hasn't been tuned yet, but I got a chance to ride in it and it felt GOOD. Weird to get that kinda low-end power from a Honda.
Anyway the car is all original paint and all the work was done by Streetwerkz himself. Here's the pics:

better get a turbocharger then because sorry to say that the JR. doesn't have the top-end capabilities your looking for.
Anyways, the car is pretty cool for being so stock. These Pics make me really miss my old Drag Progressives (my good friend helped me trade them for a set of Slips, worst mistake I've made)

have you ever owned a JRSC? 200whp will be EASY with a little more work. there are PLENTY of them out there.
I am going to road race the car NOT drag race.... so peak HP isnt my goal, but usable HP is.
your good friend wouldnt happen to be GUILOTINE, would it? HAHA
thanks for the drag pros.

Yeah Guill is my friend, so thats where my wheels went. Why didnt you keep them silver?
Im telling you Ive had several friends with built GSR's w/ superchargers tuned well and everything. Best peak power with the JR on a built 1.8L tuned with a Hondata on a Dynojet was like 203whp. They really werent meant for peak HP, just designed to help with TQ and mid range.
Honestly if you hit the 160 range consider your self lucky.
But again if your goals are road racing and street legal mods the supercharger will suite you perfect.

and at 10 PSI with headwork, cam timing, and my stroker 1.8L+ block... 200+ will not be that hard.
we will see.</TD></TR></TABLE>
I've had swaps already.
I have run 100 shot direct port.
I had a turbo D series.
semi-built N/A D series.
I wanted to do a supercharged car. (Its my car, and I'll do what I please.)
I can say, that this is the most FUN car I've had to date. maybe not the fastest, but its a well rounded automobile.

thats also a BONE stock D16a6 with 4-5 PSI. a STOCK kit.
even then, it puts out more power and tq to the ground than a B16.
I'll show you my dyno results after i get my exhaust.

Re: (.::miLan)
well I'm glad everybody loves the pictures so much
maybe I should've shot the car parked behind a warehouse with all the roll-up doors in the background, or in a parking garage? since no one has ever done THAT before....
just trying something different, I prefer to improve my photography skills by trying new things rather than just copying everyone else which is what most H-T photogs seem to do (they all copy Rodrez, Brewer, and the other GOOD photographers)....
oh and as far as the lighting, well, there was almost NO light in the location we shot at, I think we made it work OK just using the headlights of another car. There wasn't exactly a bunch of power outlets around to plug in all the studio lights I brought

I totally agree, reliable and linear power is hard to beat. And yeah the car looks like a start to a great build.

Post the dyno graph the butt-dyno is not a very reliable source

I called your phone..... maybe i can head out your way next week and shoot some daytime pics, or we can try again at the same location with a wash and wax, and not a month of garage dust on my car.
I like them..... and a bunch of them turned out really nice.
PM me or email me the rest, maybe there are better pics. (for H-T standards )

I know... the butt dyno sucks.
but a few people that drove and rode in it all think its above 160hp
not to mention its beating S2000s on the freeway, (which are 13 second cars)
anyway.......... can we please NOT make this thread an arguement about JRSC?

yeah, i was a little disappointed about that..... I think I have a pretty clean bay.
HKS filter on polished AEM short ram
jackson supercharger
polished neuspeed strut bar
very pretty stainless steel header
koyo aluminum radiator
and a heeltoe compact battery...
the motor is very "H-T bling"
