A german 96` Cypress-Green Pearl Hatch! ;-)
Hey Folks!
My name is Tim and I come from a small town named Dorsten in Germany.
It lies about 60km from Cologne.
I have become aware through the German Honda Power Forum on this forum and had logged me straight times.
Now to my car. I drive a 96`Civic 1.4iS EJ9 what I have now 1 1/2 years.
The time has already done a lot. So I bought him last year in February:
It could go then, and I got me first time with new headlights, taillights, side turn signal and parking light U.S. modules:
This should not remain, however. So I got me a different grill. In question was the Type-R Style Grill:
Since a car is happy even more fresh air, I donated a small lung in the form of a new K&N replacement filter:
Next, I have an Invidia GT300 Catback system installed:
And here, then 3 frames as the whole installed on the car looked like:
A few days later there was a nice package flown into the house. Contents of this package was a shift boot from Password JDM and a Skunk2 shift ****:
So then came a carbon panel in the car, then sat down and picked apart my speedometer!
Speedo constructed out of the car :
Aperture adjusted:
And so it looks then installed:
Next, a front strut brace came on top and an adjustable suspension by Koni into the car:
After that, I really wanted new rims and tires. I decided then to OZ Ultraleggeras in Matt Graphite Silver with the dimensions 7x16" ET37.
The tires I bought are Yokohama S.drive with the dimensions 195/45/R16:
Mounted sees the whole then looks like this:
There was once a few months break before I bought the next part. A new rear spoiler had to her. It's been this one:
Now this is the current status:
But new parts are already ordered!
New seats, Recaro Speed in black with red stitching:
Besides, I had to clean out the car and so it does not look so bare, I ordered the following parts!
Password:JDM 4 point rear strut on top:
And a Password:JDM carbon fuel pump cover:
And as small gimmicks for the engine compartment, a
cooler holder in red, also from Password:JDM:
That was that once by me.
I hope you could read it all because my English is not so great.
If there is anything new there, I will lead the thread further.
Greeting from Germany!

that's bitchin. I love the EK hatches. Now time for engine mods/swap. What kinds of swap/emissions laws are there?
I miss Germany... lived there for several years growing up and went all over Europe, but never made it to Köln. I was in the Kaiserslautern area like most Americans living there. Awesome country.
I seem to remember when I was there in the early 90s that there were *very* strict inspection/safety type laws... like they would fail you for any visible rust. Is that still the case, and how do those affect modification?

Yes that's true to puke. The bitch already around somewhere if see a blue light. This could indeed other motorists are confused because they think that because a police or ambulance comes. Only times as an example. Actually, I should not at the exhaust and the rear spoiler on the car have. Here in Germany, as do almost all parts of a general approval or an opinion. This means that the parts have a general operating permit has been tested and are mounted on the car may be exported.
The parts have an opinion, must be removed and examined by a technical inspection organization. They stop to look if the parts have been professionally mounted and present no hazard to the road.
But how does it go so well? No risk no fun!

So after a very long wait, they were all 5 weeks, I could finally pick up my Recaros on Saturday!
So picked up, squeezed in some way from the cartons and to colleagues who wanted to help me.
The brackets also adapted from the ITR on buckets like ***!
The installation went fairly fixed and we were ready if Petrus himself once thought so, 10L/m² rain dropped on us.
Today I came about this time a picture of the installed state to be made:

Maybe next the front and rear lip to come. I'm going on Saturday to the shop that is fullcartuning.nl to Holland and see what the times as great as. After that I wanted to paint a few parts like side skirts, door handles and indicator recess. Then I'm done with the extent of the body!
Perhaps then the Motorswap. But I do not know yet. In general, I'd love to have a different engine. As for me, then a B18C or B18C6 would come into question. In any case, I'll keep you up to date!

You were already on the Nordschleife? That's cool. I'm already gone 2 times there. Every year on Good Friday, I'm there because there`s a big meeting with japanese cars.

Re: A german 96` Cypress-Green Pearl Hatch! ;-)
So after a couple of weeks i have some new upgrades on my whip.
I installed my password:jdm radiator Stay, got new ignition wires in red and bought an oem ek9 front lip.
Then I emptied my whip and installed the password:jdm 4 point rear strut tower bar.
After that i bought an oem ek9 rear lip, an oem ek9 rear wing and an password:jdm carbon fuel pump cover.
In some days i will give the lips and my sideskirts to the paint shop so that everything would be look unitary.
The rear wing gets partly laminated with carbon.

Question, can somebody of the Mods or Admins put the Thread into the Appearance Build Threads Forum?
That would be nice.
