**** works real good. When I got my crx the oem carpet was so sun damaged that it wasn't even black anymore. 2 cans later of the spray made the carpet look brand new!!! This was also about a year ago and it's still holding up just fine

I did this to my Blue carpet too a while back, turned out awesome. Still holding up good. I would do extra coats where your feet make contact with. Other than that its still minty fresh

I could'nt sell em for $30.00 man. They were stained and dirty and the driver side seat was torn. I didn't lose anything. Actually, I had decided I was gonna just give them away, just to get em out of the way.

<TABLE WIDTH="90%" CELLSPACING=0 CELLPADDING=0 ALIGN=CENTER><TR><TD>Quote, originally posted by B18CivicEH2 &raquo;</TD></TR><TR><TD CLASS="quote">so its been about 2 months now, hows the interior going?</TD></TR></TABLE>

Looks great!

As I said before, the better condition the seats are in, the better the dye is going to take to them. It'll have more fabric to dye. Also, if your going to do this, clean the seats real good and the carpet even better. My seats are kinda worn so where there isn't much fabric, there isn't much dye.

<FONT SIZE="5">I've noticed zero fading in the drivers seat (butt and back), the passenger OR the rear. And I carry 2 passengers everyday to work.
If it has faded, it's so light that I can't tell so it's not enough to worry with.</FONT>

And the seats are soft and supple, just like they were before I dyed them.

If you have too much pride to do this, it's a shame. I'm proud of my uber cheap black seats. I'll get newer seats in the future, ones with no tears and whatnot and I'll dye them too

im glad i saw this. i was going to purchase the "molded pre cut ' black carpet until i found a thread about the carpet not being precut and not really molded. this is half the price and i can say i did it. i will be doing this and will post pics. i think im going to power wash the carpet as to get rid of all rocks and debris.

great job !! ;D

I did this on my 6th gen seats a few years back.. Unfortunatly the black will fade heavily on places that are touched frequently.. Its gonna take several months to start but it will happen.

Places like the arm rest and the sides of the seats will start to look like ***.. Head rest also.. I have pics of what it looks like 6 months later.

but enjoy if for now.. I really liked the way yours came out. I hope they stay that way

If it does.. Then I"ll re-do it. I'ts not that big of a deal at all to re-spray it in a year. I mean, it's $3.xx a can? I can do all the seats for around $15.00

honestly bro.. i said the same thing... i even made a thread about how happy i was lol

It was 2 years ago so my pictures have expired.. But i will look on my computer for them . I have before, and after, and AFter after pictures

If i were you take my advice and find a way keep the dye in longer. Maybe research it But if you leave it i promise you ur gonna end up hating it.

Have you expierience the the incredible amount of dust that is now attracted to the seats yet? O and for some reason the spray makes the seats have a static charge like all the time.. I used to get shocked everytime i got out the car.

Like I am not a hater I just know from expierience. I had to repaint my **** twice... The i ended up giving them away for free
