Default Color Sanding

If there is ripples in the paint/body, can color sanding fix the ripples or not?

ripples as in orange peel???

all color sanding does it get rid of a nasty top coat and able you to polish out a fresh layer to make it look new. On older cars with a lot of oxidization, this is done.

not orange peel, like if you look at it from an angle, you can see ripples in the pain or body. But its not like its a dent or a ding, its just rippley. It's hard to explain. Thanks anyways.

If the car is clear coated yes, you can wetsand(color sand) but not if it is in the actual paint. Only the clear.

It's really hard to say without a picture. If you can present a picture, I'm sure you would get more responses. Color sanding does wonders, but it can only do so much. If the prep work/blocking was not up to par, then you might be in trouble.
