so those allen bolts are the only things holding the wheels to the hub? how do you even torque those? those are the most retarded things ever.

Re: 4 to 5 lug adapters (donut.)
i could see this working better on a vw because the the bolts go through the wheel into the spindle where as with a honda the bolts come out of the spindle and a nut is applied

no look at the design, there are 4 larger holes on the thicker part of the adapter that bolt to your stock hub with lug nuts, then there are 5 smaller holes that hold the second part of the adapter to the first part and that second part has the 5 lug

Kids try so hard these days to gain acceptance into the world that we call Honda-Tech.com.
What is so bad about four lug.

because you still have five allen bolts that hold the thick and thin parts together. that should also be torqued to over 50 ft-lbs

the only thing holding on your wheels are those allen screws that you can't torque to 80ft-lb's like you can with lugs. you'll strip the heads at 40 ft-lb's maybe less. not only that, look at the thread pitch on them. they dont look like they can take very much pressure on a hard turn.
do you guys even know what the purpose of having 5 lug is? its not for wheel selection.
keep in mind even if you do get these, you have to compensate by getting a high offset wheel +45 at the lowest which reduces your wheel selection. so basically, not only is it unsafe but its a waste of money lol

Re: 4 to 5 lug adapters (gabebauman)
there has to be some issues with the adapters i mean why wouldnt it be more known? everyone would be swapping these apdapters the way i look at it you should just go with 4 or 5 lug and pay the extra dollars to protect your life and your investment

damn noobs. the wheels came off because he was given lug nuts with the wrong taper and the stock wheel studs broke off as a result. he didnt even have any spacers.

Remember where you're at man, this is app/cosm section.

Ding ding ding...nobody thinks of offsets, only size and lug. Look at how thick those adapters are, it should be common sense how high your offset would have to be to run them.

I know this...just thought it related real well with what might possibly happen. And it's always good for a chuckle.

the adapter looks to be at least 1 inch. so 1 inch is about 25.4 millimeters.
lowest offset i was able to run without rubbing was +33 but some of you are crazy with that.
take that 33 offset wheel and add 25.4mm and the lowest offset i'd be able to run with those adapters is, lets say 58 and up, good god! how many wheels with that kind of offset in 15 and 16" lmao
but hey, its your money lol

Re: (gabebauman)
these look ALOT more promising then those 2 piece design, that 2 piece looks VERY unsafe, i would pick these over those any day. they bolt on with your lugs and thats it. no need to worry about those alan screws breaking

Re: 4 to 5 lug adapters (donut.)
Well, I think the point would be to use to OEM ITR wheels, which have a pretty high offset and, as shown, will fit.
