I'm starting to want to get new tires for the 06 Accord. Right now it has the Michelins that came with it. It's the only set of Michelins I've had that I've been halfway happy with. They seem to get decent traction and lasted 52k miles or so. Not great but not horrible either.

The rest of the sets of Michelins I've tried which have been on 2 other cars I've been very unhappy with. They last but don't get good traction.

Basically I want a good year round tire that gets good traction as in can take turns at decent speeds. Don't plan to track it but the Michelins I had on other cars would squeel if you took a turn near on some mountain roads not too far away if you took some of the turns over 25-35mph. Seemed to squeel and hop. The speed limit is 55 so that didn't make me happy. The sets of Toyo's I've had didn't do that.

It's also important that they last a while. As in 50k minimum. I don't want tires that wear out in 20k miles.

So far on 1 of my other cars I have Toyo's on it. I've in the past run Toyo's on others and always been super happy. Part of me is wanting to go with the Toyo's again as every set I've had has always impressed me when it came to performance and also done pretty well when it comes to wearing. I thought I'd come on here to ask for suggestions though.

The Toyo's I've tried are the Proxies TPT's, Spectrums, and FZ4's(I didn't get to run these that long due to a rim failure). All have been good.

I wish I had 18" wheels as I have a set of 4 FZ4's with maybe 300 miles on them in the garage however, since this car has 17" wheels and not 18"s those are a no go.

Any recommendations? Price doesn't matter soo much but what I listed above does.

Kumho ASX is a very grippy all weather, all season tyre. They're a lot cheaper than you'd think for the level of performance.

Yeah I have had the Kuhmo ASX's on three of my cars and they are really good tires for the money. Grip well, expect 30-40k miles tops, and they are decently quiet.
