This is not gonna make you feel better but, It feels like it's on the high side especially with 87K miles.
When I was in the market for accord, I came accross '07 EX 4cyl with 60K miles (Not certified) for 12K so OTD woulda been 13.5K ish without the warranty.

I just bought an 07 Hybrid without Navigation. It's a CPO with 61000 in SoCal for $17700 otd at the local dealership. And I don't work there.
BTW I love these style Accords. I have an 05 EX 2.4 I-VTEC and she's still running strong. Have had no major issues with it, nothing has gone bad on it with 108k miles. I do all the maintenance and I am not a Honda tech.

Let's not jump on him yet without all the details. When you back out the numbers, it's could be about right. Extended warranty, taxes, fees, EXL, and maybe he got gap insurance too.
Sure, there are better deals around, but it's not that far off.

Well, if it is EXL w/ GAP and all the fixin's then perhaps it isn't sooo bad, but working for the actual dealership you'd think he'd get a much better price point.

Re: Just bought 2007 Accord
I dont want you to feel bad. I think this is over priced sale.
I got my 07 Accord 4cyl LX at 24k miles in Jan 2009 for about $15k.
I know there are certain similar models that may have alloy wheels or moonroof and still the price increase should not be much.
You should have posted here prior to buying as guys would have given you good advice.
Your Honda will give you long service, just take good care of it. You dont have to do much maintenance with these newer models. The 4cyls have timing chains and so they dont need to be changed.
Every 5k change the oil and rotate tires. (I dont follow the maintenance minder)
every 30k change the air filter, cabin filter and drain/refill transmission fluid (Honda ATF).
The tuneups and coolant are not needed to be done till around 100k.
At every 5k I also put 3oz of lucas fuel injection cleaner when filling gas.
After 60k you can do additional maintenance like changing the brake fluid and PS fluid.

Re: Just bought 2007 Accord
The actual car was 12.5k. It is an EX it's auto with sunroof cloth seats after wrist kenwood stereo 16" wheels. I got a 3 year 30,000 mile bumper to bumper and gap insurance. I know there are. Better deals out there but it happened so fast. My 91 DA randomly died on me when I went to cash my paycheck that day so i talked to the mechanics they said it was a fuel pump so I ordered that and called my grandma to give me a ride home and she said to just find a car I liked at a reasonable price so I picked the accord over some merc sables and pastel yellow convertible bug lol. After all is said and done with my grandmas perfect credit and mine being non existent I got A 5.5 interest rate for 72 month at $240 a month. I'm extreamly happy with the car other then it being an auto

I'm loving it do far. Almost 500 miles to the tank. Got some of the DOHC I Vtec stickers for the rear door. Might get some tow hooks just so it doesn't look so familyish

Re: Just bought 2007 Accord
I bought a used 2007 Accord EX sedan with 31k on the odometer for $14,100 including a $1400 extended warranty and $600 gap insurance. Silver with black cloth seats. Non Honda certified. Also of note I bought it September 2010 and do not work at a dealership... :-)
