Radio Fuse keeps blowing upon replacement
Hi,
My 2010 Crosstour Ex-L's fuse keeps blowing!
So while on a short road trip out of town, my speakers suddenly turned off our of no where. I was surprised and instantly could smell the blown fuse. I did make a small modification to the stock sub woofer by tapping into it's connector signal with a wire feeding it into another sub. I was very careful when hooking this up (no exposed wires and tension on the wire.) Stereo lights, cig lighter outlets and everything else seem to be working fine.
So I pulled over to the next city to replace the fuse and right away it blew while connecting it! To me this sounds like a bad ground wire but before I start tearing apart the car to check with a multi meter, I thought I would ask here first. Could this have something to do with the factory amp?
Does anyone have suggestions? Has anyone run into this type of situation before? Any tips?
responses are greatly appreciated!
