Can anyone tell me what data is available off of the computer in a 2004 Accord related to right before a crash (i.e., seat belt use, speed, brakes, transmission, rpm's). Can you tell me how to retrieve this data? Honda North America will only give me limited info and says it can only be retrieved with permission of their legal dept.

Simply put, you can't. The information/process to do that, has not and will not be released from Honda. It's likely only something Honda's engineers can retrieve. So don't even bother wasting your time going to a dealership, they won't be able to help.

There is no black box. The only time data is actually stored anywhere is if the check engine light comes on. Then you have about 15 seconds of very limited data that is stored for retrieval by techs.
