Default Loss of power or electrical

Driving my 2010 Honda cross tour down the highway going 65 mph and suddenly I lose all acceleration and power. All lights on the dashboard flash on at the moment it happens. The traction control and the check engine light stay on for a while. The car power drops to about 10% power and is still running. I'm able to pull over, shut the car off, start it again and drive again and drive with no problems. The dealer is saying that they cannot find the problem and dismissed it It just happened again, a few months later, so it is sporadic but would like to get to the root of the problem.

Default Re: Loss of power or electrical

I have the same problem with my 2010 cross tour. It loses about 90percent power suddenly. If i pull over and restart it is fine. Today was the 3rd time it happened. The first time I narrowly escaped an accident. The dealership said they could not find anything wrong. They would not take the car back. The second time I said I would not take it back unless they fixed it. They gave it back a week later and said they fixed the throttle body. They said it would be fine. I was very happy because I love the car. Today it happened again and I was driving on a snowy highway with a tractor trailer behind me. The only reason I am alive is that I was going downhill. When the car hesitated for a split second and the dash lights came on I knew what was coming and rolled to the next lane. I want my money back. I do not want to drive a cross tour ever again. Have you had it happen again? If not be careful, you will. They don't know how to fix it. They are not really as concerned as they should be, someone may have to have a serious accident before they take it seriously.

I have the same problem with my 2011 cross tour. It loses power suddenly while driving and steering wheel locks momentarily. If i pull over and restart it is fine. Very scary because it happened after a few months again. The dealership said they could not find anything wrong. I need help to fix this issue.
