hard to get the car to crank

hard to get the car to crank
I'm wondering if there's any normal cause that would cause my Accord in cool weather (high 30's to high 40's) to have problems cranking and when cranking i strong, to require four attempts before it starts up?
I replaced the battery from the dealership about three months ago. Seems to still be doing badly after being replaced for similar cranking issues in cold weather and testing as a bad battery.
The Accord 07 has only 47,000 miles on it... Not like it's in bad shape... All normal maintenance has been completed.
Only other noticeable issue is a horribly annoying metallic vibration coming from around the front passenger seat. Otherwise, all else is good.

Yeah, I'm getting all the general fluids/oil changed tomorrow morning.
Would you think that $165.95 is a bit excessive for spark plugs as well?

Eh that price is from the dealership. I've had bad luck with two local mechanic shops, so I've now made a habit of frequenting the dealership and just eating the extra costs.

just do it yourself...it really does take only about 10 mins and itll cost around a third of what the dealer charges

I don't notice any issues that would make me think something needs replaced like that. But, I wouldn't know what to look for anyway probably.

Re: hard to get the car to crank
The title here is misleading. is the car having trouble cranking or is it not firing off once it cranks? If it's not cranking at the proper speed, the spark plugs won't help anything besides the dealership's bank account. Even with a good battery the terminals might be corroded. Take a look at them and clean them if necessary.

So you have an automatic transmission? The neutral safety switch keeps the car from starting in gear, but will allow it to start in park as well as neutral for an automatic sot try both. If it is a standard, there is a corresponding switch which is closed when the clutch pedal is fully depressed. Make sure there is nothing interfering with the pedal travel & etc.
I do not know what amperage should be showing at the starter solenoid, but you might look that up and see if you are getting enough juice to it.
If you have any warranty left, I would definitely get it checked out pronto at the dealership. I just had the starter replaced on an older accord when I was out of town. $550 later the car starts again.
Oh, get the new battery checked (load tested). New is not necessarily good.
