Crosstour Owners - Chime in

In a Junkyard near you.
Re: Crosstour Owners - Chime in
Seriously? You don't want people to buy them because YOU think it's ugly??
I saw one on the road yesterday and I have to admit it looked pretty good. It's not really a new model either it's just an accord wagon with 4 wheel drive and a lift kit.

I seriously like them... and I like the way they look.
the car looks completely functional and AWD helps.
Congrate on a great purchase chefmark

Thanx, it's funny but eveyone who says it's ugly has never seen one up close. I think Honda screwed up the marketing on this model. Once you see and drive one you will see a big difference

I don't own one but I test drove one. I liked the handling and the solid feel with awd. I found it a bit underpowered though. Given that it seems to be aimed at the "empty nesters" (ala Toyota Venza), and it's odd rear end looks, I'll give it a pass

I'm not sure if the Crosstour competes directly with the Venza. If you're interested in a Venza, I'm not absolutely sure that a Crosstour will appeal to you.

Re: Crosstour Owners - Chime in
I don't own a Crosstour but I've driven several of them. They drive very nice and the 4wd is a great addition. A bit difficult to see out the rear window, but with the help of the backup camera and it's "distance" lines backing up is made much easier.
However, the Crosstour doesn't use the VTM-4 system. It's a Dual Pump system type, like the Crv/Elements. Which is fine, as most owners wouldn't be using it for heavy-duty towing, like a Pilot/Ridgeline would be used for.

" God I hope not. That's seriously one of the worst looking vehicles on the road today....."
In the eyes of the beholder, as they say.
I left Honda sales after 13 years, took a year off, and returned to sales at a different Honda store. I felt like Honda had left a few presents under the tree to welcome me back; the redesigned headrests on the Pilot's third row seat is a good example. My favorite present though was the Crosstour--love the look, love the drive, love showing them to potential owners.

A bit of topic, but it would be nice if they put the 2010 v6 TSX chassis on top of the crosstour drive train.
By the way, I was really apprehensive of the crosstour when I first encountered the advertisement for the car. But after seeing it in person, and sitting in one-all I have to say is, I love it.
As soon as I need AWD, the crosstour will be in my garage.

Re: Crosstour Owners - Chime in
I didnt like them until I actually went in to check one out
Then I fell in love with them.....And apparently the target buyer is a single male in mid
30's with annual income of 55-70 thousand.

If people buy a CT expecting some kind of SUV crossover, I think they'll be disappointed. I think of it more as a Gran Touring car with practical space. If you add AWD, you have a GT ready to head for the ski basin, or at least able to get thru Flagstaff between November and April!! It IS quieter and roomier than the '04 Accord EX we moved from. I like it!!

A close friend of mine just got the top of the line nav version... I love the car. drives great, laid out like my 8th gen accord and looks good.
she has a couple issues, one that the A pillar is so far canted back for aerodynamics its hard for her to see as shes used to a more upright BMW.
I'd take this over a sedan Accord any day of the week
