Clicking Noise when Shifting from Park to Drive?
Hi!
I am a new owner of a 2008 Honda Accord LX-P, and I find myself wondering what a certain noise is when I shift it into drive. It follows immediately after I shift it from park into drive. Also like something is engaging? Is this normal or should I have it looked at? This isn't a very loud noise but can be heard from the inside.
Does anyone have an answer?!? Thanks!!
Justin

In a Junkyard near you.
You're probably parked on a hill. Before you put the car into park pull the parking brake while in neutral and release the foot brake, THEN put the car in park.
I bet the noise will go away.

I guess I should refine my problem. It's almost when I start to accelerate I hear a slight click. It's when I start to go, not when I actually do the shifting, its the aftermath. Is it still the incline?
Thanks!
Thanks!

Thanks Everyone,
I called a guy I know in Honda Service and he said it was actually my ABS pump kicking it. That's just the way it works on the 08 Accords and he mentioned like on the Odyssey's it kicks in at about 11 MPH. Which is just strange, but he mentioned it is normal..
Thanks again!!
