Default bad barometric pressure sensor

my g/f 04 hond accord is getting a bad barometric pressure sensor is faulty, as i am aware the barometric pressure sensor is welded to the cars ecu? so I am guessing i need to replace the cars ecu. If that is correct that leads me to my main concern. Can i have a mechanic install a ecu for it or does a honda dealership need to install this.

The code is usually due to blockage in your air intake. Check and replace the air filter if necessary and check for blockage in the air intake tube, all the way to the throttle body.

The PCM uses the MAP sensor as a BARO, MAP and BARO are integrated to each other.
