2010 Accord Oil & Engine Light on
2010 Honda Accord V6 VTEC, 140K miles
Ran the Code scan, P0522 Engine Oil Pressure Sensor Circuit Low Voltage
First I replaced the Oil pressure sensor switch located on the Passenger side by the oil filter. when i did this I noticed Corrosion in the plug and one of the three prongs broken off. Installed the New Oil Pressure SW and cleaned the plug the best i could, i noticed the pin had broke off inside the plug and used a probe to clean the debris out. then reinstalled with electro grease.
When i used the scanner to clear the code it would not clear.
Next i replaced the oil pressure sensors on each head, then cleared the road with another scanner and the oil & Engine light came back on.
Im wondering if the plug was not working when i connected it to the New Pressure Switch. (The SW has 3 prongs and shaped like a rectangle)
Where Can I find a Pigtail for the Oil Pressure Switch to change out the plug?
And Yes I'm driving the car with the oil Pressure SW lights on, the car runs fine. the oil level if on the full mark and i changed the oil about a month ago. AMS oil 5w-20
Thanks for any support
let me know where i can find a replacement plug, no luck on the web at this point
