Default 2007 Accord V6, AC stopped working

Hello all Honda experts,

Please help me on the following case:

Wife's car:
2007 Accord V6, 4 door, (no navigation)
Wife's complaint:
AC suddenly blows hot air during a hot afternoon in stop and go traffic
What I did:
_ checked for leaks with TIF detector
(no leak)
_ performance test
rpm 1500, intake temp 26degC, intake pressure 180 kPa, delivery temp 11degC, delivery pressure 1450 kPa
(values looked normal according to Honda temp/pressure chart)
_ road test with wife, 22 km
(ac behaved normally, set at 3 degC below outside air temp)
Car was released to wife for daily commute to work (15 km each way)
Same complaint, 2 days later: the ac blows hot air ...
I checked it then and checked it the day after: The compressor didn't kick in ... The condenser fan was running though ..

I followed Honda's instruction "Displaying sensor inputs at the climate control unit"
_ temp set to "Lo"
_ hold "Auto" and "Dual" and start engine
_ release buttons and start flashing sensors values by pressing rear defogger
_ all values are normal except for
#6 driver air mix opening = d1 (-31%) .........????
#9 vent temperature air out (TAO) = c9 (-29degC) ............?????

I looked up the Honda Service Manual and couldn't find any reference to the "Vent Temp Air Out (TAO)" sensor
The only thing shown in the drawings is the "In-Car Temperature Sensor" but that one gave a correct reading
Is there a TAO sensor ??? and where is it referred to in Honda's manual ?

#6 driver air mix opening = d1 = -31% and #9 TAO = c9 = -29degC
look like corrupted values which could throw the PCM off .
Is there a way to reset those or reset the HVAC portion of the PCM ? without access to Honda's HDS ?

Where else should I look to fix this AC problem ?

Thanks a million for your help .............. ...............

Could be too much clearance between the compressor and the clutch. The dealership replaced my clutch and stator a couple years ago, and it cost me $600. But, like I said the clearance might be the only problem, and you could remove a shim or two and it would be fine. Check the clearance. One guy on this forum said he took the clutch off, by unbolting the compressor from the bracket, and leaving the refrigerant lines connected (to avoid evacuating and recharging the system). I was too chicken to try that myself, and paid through the nose to the dealership.
