The issue is, when accelerating the front end shakes side to side between 35-40km/h and then again between 90-100km/h. The front end is being thrown around at these speeds, and you can see the dash shimmy back and forth. However any speed above 100km the symptom disappears and is as smooth as can be. When in the range of 90-100km/h if you press the gas slightly the car shakes (so extreme load is not necessary), I have also tried shifting down a gear and it remains (autotransmission), but if the car is put in neutral or coasting everything is smooth again. I have had the front axles replaced on both sides, new rotors installed, new engine mounts put in as well as new tires and rims. I have been questioning the possibility of it being the transmission causing the issue as it is speed sensative, but no indicator light is lit on my dash. Also could it be the torque converter is shot? I appreciate all the help as this has been causing me many grey hairs

This sounds like the typical concerns of someone who has a faulty inboard joint of the axle. If only the axel shaft and outboard joint were replaced that is why the problem is still there. I know if you order an axle from the honda dealer most often on newer models complete axles are not available. You said you had the axles replaced. Where? Maybe they ordered "axles" and only received shaft and outboard joint and reused your inboard joint. Check your records/ speak with the technician(maybe actually you?)/parts person for a diagram and part #s, compare the parts listed with those on your invoice. I am almost certain this is what happened. Wow that is ALOT of money spent needlessly. Like 2 grand who is paying for all the parts which have not repaired the vehicle? Replace the inboard joint sets on the axles and quit going grey.

Hey thanks soo much for the reply! Actually I beleive it was the complete assembly from Napa autoparts. I remember the mechanic putting them both in, and the axles would both meet in the middle where the gear is to turn them (Possibly the Transmission). Sorry I am not skilled in the mechanical area's but have learned alot in the past while. I remember when the mechanic first hoisted it in the air, the driver side axle was bouncing up and down when the wheels were spinning, thus we replaced both sides which helped a lot. But it still gets intense from 30-40 and then 90-100 or under extreme excelleration from 0-100 then is gone. I was told the car was hit on the drive front side causing that axle to hop, so if the axle connects to the transmission, could the transmission have possible dented gears now or bearings?

I mean it is possible, but it is more possible that NAPA axles come bad out of the box. Rebuilt axles have many problems. If they are NAPA axles then they come with a warranty. Use it. Question. At 55-60mph is it smooth then with very light throttle start shaking the steering wheel from side to side, then as soon as you go off throttle the shaking stops. is the shaking basically on accelaration?

The axle on the driver side was replaced twice and the passenger once. When the driver side was replaced it did help. Also the steering wheel does not move at all. just the entire front end moves back and forth when any given load is put on it especially between 55-60mph. But 70mph and higher it is as smooth as can be, I can put full throttle down, light throttle and perfect. I have been doing some testing and it seems to be worse on left hand turns then right.. When I get in the interval of 30-40km/h and turn left, the hop or shimmy is a lot worse and less noticable turning right.

Any idea's?

I had the exact same problem. Check your compliance bushings. It is very common on 7th gen accords. I hope this helps

Compliance bushings are also known as lower control arm bushings the front ones that are paralell to the ground. These are a possible suspect but I highly doubt that is the problem.

I have had both front axles replaced in the front which included all the CV joints inner and outter and while doing so they replaced a bushing on each side, which I think might be that compliance bushing. If it were to be the hub assembly it would happen all the time correct? I mean it gets violent between 90-100kms no matter how light or hard the gas is put down and same with 30-40kms. But I am noticing it to be a lot worse under left hand turns and hardly noticable on right hand turns. Which side of the car would this be a result of?

I have been playing careful attention too and beleive the car has a shake when deaccelerating from 100-90kms/h

I am thinking a gear or bearing in the transmission may be impacted?

Sorry I did not get a chance to reply. Did you ever figure out what the problem is?
