2004 V6 Accord CEL P0103 & P0203
Hello to all. I´m new in the forum so I want to share with you a problem that I have with my car. Like a month ago the CEL come up and felt a lot of loss power and roughing idle, so I get is scanned and pulled out the code P0403 and all the P0300 (301,302,...,306). I replaced the EGR valve and the P0403 code dissapeared but the missfire condition and roughing idle continued. I made several tests (to coil packages, spark plugs and injectors) and found one faulty injector on cylinder 3. I replaced the damaged injector and then I recovered almost all the power, but the roguhing idle is still present and the CEL is still on. The codes that I have right now are P0103 & P0203:
P0103: Mass or Volume Air Flow Circuit High Input. Everything that I have found on the web refers to a faulty MAF sensor. Since my car is a V6 J-Series it doesn´t have a MAF sensor. Any of you have an idea what this code means?
P0203: Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinder 3: This one is getting me really crazy:
First I tested the resistance on all the injectors and they have the same. Then I checked the Voltage on one of the terminals of the injector connector, all the connectors have the same voltage. Then with the car on I checked the other terminal of the connectors using a light tester and I get a fast flashing light in all the connectors so I´m receiving singal from the ECU. Then I cleaned all the terminals with an electrical contact cleaner to make sure that the dirt is not affecting the connections. Result: CEL still on and roughing Idle.
The next step was going to the ECU connectors. I tested the resistance for all the injector wires and all of them have the same resistance. I cleaned the terminals with the contact cleaner. Then to test the ECU signal I inserted some needles on the pins of the connector (as shown on the image). with the car running I tested the signal from the ECU on the cylinder 3 (the one that is turning on the CEL) and on the injector 5 to compare the results. On both the test light flashes the same way. But the CEL is still present and also the roughing idle. Do you have any idea about what else should I do to get it fixed? (obviously anything different than go to the dealer. I live in Guadalajara, Mexico and here you can´t trust on the mechanicals. On the Dealer they send the cars to external workshops)
Thanks,
Ismael Naja.

Re: 2004 V6 Accord CEL P0103 & P0203
Hello to all.
I just resolved the problems with my car. I replaced the injector wires... the problem is that honda sells these wires in a part number that includes ALL the wires from the motor(PN-32110-RCA-A51), so I replaced this harness (with about 50 different connectors). It was an 8 hours work but when I turned on the car again the MIL went off and the motor stop to hesitate. Now it has all its power again.
If any of you have the same problem, I hope it helps you to diagnose and fix.

Re: 2004 V6 Accord CEL P0103 & P0203
I have the same problem with my Australian Honda Accord V6 2004 model. Plus it has very noisy rockers as well. The lack of power is very noticeable and also the smell from the exhaust is quite noticeable too.
I'm not sure if I have the same problem or could it be something different seeing the rockers have become so noisy too?
