You posted in the wrong section.
You have to remove the vents from the top of the dashboard by pulling towards you and up.
Pop off the shifter trim (pull up)
Then remove the cointray (pop it out with a screwdriver) and the two screws below it.
Remove the two screws holding in the storage compartment and remove that too.
Once you get that out you can remove the two 8mm bolts from the bottom of the radio.
Then you just have to pull the radio out from it's clips.
But beware the aftermarket radio and a/c controls are garbage.

Will those same instructions work on my 07 Accord with Navigation?

I assume they do. I've gotten to the two bolts in the bottom of the radio, but the vent doesn't budge. The radio connection is not visible from the lower compartment.

Anyone have more insight to removing the vents/top area above the stereo? I couldn't get it to move either.

do you mean pull the vents themselves and pull straight out towards the back of the car?

that dircetion is not 100% accurate for vent removal. you actually have to press the hazard button in and there is a slot infront of it for you to put in a flat head, thats the release for you to remove the vent by pulling it out towards you, if you dont press it, i doubt you can remove the vent.
