My wipers stopped working a few weeks ago(the last snow storm). I didn't have time to look at it in depth till now but I took off the wipers and connected the power straight to the wiper motor and it worked so with that I assumed that the motor was fine. Ended up taking it to a local mechanic for a second opinion (due to lack of time)but he says wiper motor was bad and needed to be replaced. Is it possible the motor is still bad (electrically) or am i getting screwed by this guy?

*Also checked the fuse and they keep blowing. Any ideas? I think I'm next going to check maybe the wiring.

You should have checked the local dealership first. There was a recall on the wiper motor. You could have gotten the motor changed for no charge. If you are the original owner, you should have received a recall notice from Honda.

thanks BLKFLSH but I had already called the Local dealer and they said it wasn't covered...and I believe there is a site to check to and I tried that also cause I wanted to double check, but it wasn't covered....its not one of those appearently...but i'm sure it is, cause it's the same issue and if i take it in Honda will charge just to look at it.

I would call another dealership, and try again. Did they tell you your car wasn't covered, or the part is not covered? Did you check Honda owner's link. You can probably enter your VIN # and find out if your car was included in the recall that way too.
