Default window is slow to go down, now wont roll up

I tried to search but i didnt find anything helpful. on my 92 accord both windows are slow to roll down, i have had to push my driver-side window down for years, but my pass-side started to go down really slow, last night it wont roll up.

What should i try?

I have the same problem with the passenger side in my '90, I was told it was the motor by a friend of mine that works at an auto parts store. He had also had this problem in his tbird, and changing the motors worked.

it can be the motor but is more then likely the grease in the track needs to be redone.....grease up the whole track and put the window up and down a few times.....this will most times fix the problem.....make sure you get all the old grease out too

x2, most important part of the job is greasing the window runs. also check to see if they are torn or out of place.

...although i've never seen old grease in windows that were slow going up and down, usually just no grease.. getting the old stuff out would be good though.

had this problem in my accord, its the switch.... in a accord you cant take the switch apart to clean, like an integra. so you have to replace it. if it where the motor or regulator, it wouldnt go up an down. it would grind an get stuck. so i replaced the motor an regulator... my accord did that on the window an it fixed both windows

i'd say inspect the tracks, make sure the window is still on the track properly and then grease it up

On the tracks? Seems like he's talking the edges which are made of rubber, and you should NOT put any grease on those! You can clean them, but should add wd40, soap, oil or grease of any kind to help it slide or anything.

Sounds to me like it's the track.Have you checked those rubber strips around the windows?
