Default Will 90-93 flex plate bolt to 94-97 engine?

hey guys, i have a buddy that is currently swapping a 91 tranny into a 97 AUTOMATIC accord for me. we did have have to swap out one of the mount studs on the tranny but that was not a problem..

buddy just informed me that the 91 torque converter does not line up with the 97 flex plate. he said we can try to use the torque converter from the 97 tranny but i would rather not use parts from the bad tranny.

anyways, i am thinking of trying to find a flex plate from a 90-93 auto engine to use on the 97 engine, but just want to double check with you guys first to make sure that a 90-93 flex plate will bolt to my 97 engine with no problems.

THANKS!!!
