Some have luck letting a 1/2"drive impact gun run to speed. Sometimes it will catch enough threads one last time to come off (Sound quite French Canadian, don't I?)
Sometimes the nut can be split with a cold chisel. Either way, something ain't surviving!!!
What complicates matters is if that stripped lug nut is surrounded by a particularly nice alloy wheel.
