Default what do I have to do to make 1994 engine work in a 1997 car

what do I have to do to make 94 engine work in a 97 car??? I have a good 94 ex engine and the 1997 ex just started to get a rod knock, so what all do I need to make this work?

Obd2 - obd1 conversion harness. But depending on emissions regulations in your area it may or may not be legal.

I thought they only made these in manual trans I have a automatic .I do not have to deal with emissions

I think trans wont matter, ask a company that makes the conversion harness to be sure.

I think other than switching some sensors, put it in. Are they both f22b1?

yes they are both f22b I'm going to change both manifolds so is there any other sensors that won't work mainly I'm worried about the oil pump sensor

Ok after reading you have to change the oil pump and use the 1997 distributor if anyone has any more insight please let me know
