OT: More of my bad luck...
As some of you may recall the luck I have had with my camber kits and brake upgrades, Murphy's Law has struck again. Ok, I'm ready to pull the engine...
I better jack the car up first...As I walk around to put the jackstand under the sides...
!!!CRASH!!!!
The car slips off of the jack and the jackhits the radiator.
I didn't even get mad really...I expect things like this to happen now.
Oh well, time to move on.
And now...

what kind of plans do you have for it? There is alot of carbon build up around your exhaust ports, did you reuse your stock gasket with that header or do u have alot of miles on it?

I'm still debating whether to turbo the F22 or the h22a with a turbo. It depends on what it looks like when I pull the head. It's got a lot of mileage but ever since I put my fuel pressure riser on, it was running really rich. It would actually spit soot out of the tailpipes when I started it. The exhaust gasket is a Mr. Gasket copper gasket.
Yeah pretty dirty...

Rich yes, lol, that looks pretty rich.
My h22a with a header, test pipe and exhaust shoots 5ft flames on the 1-2 shift at redline after ive been driving for a bit

Re: OT: More of my bad luck... (iam7head)
Right now I'm just going to take my time, tear it down and rebuild it. I don't drive this car in the winter anyway so I have all winter to mess around with it. I'm going to do a 5 speed swap too so I'll be working on that. And getting rid of the A/C and possibly power steering. By then I'll have made up my mind and hopefully saved up enough to fulfill those plans. That silicone coating does make it look better too.
That fender will have to be replaced. I bent it back the best I could but it will probably never look right...

Yeah, I might try wrapping the entire exhaust to help keep the heat down inside the car. Other than that, I will just have to sweat my *** off in the summer.
