yes my speedometer stop working and autozone did the cel and thats wat it is lol

It's located on the transmission, under where the shift cables mount to on the transmission.
I couldn't find a diagram so I found a picture and circled the VSS in red.
I pulled the image from s.cali alan auto-to-5spd write-up, if this is a problem let me know and I'll remove it

I don't think you need to remove the IM. Just unbolt the intake from the throttle body and move that out of the way. Maybe even disconnect and unbolt the sift cables from the tranny to give you more room.

well i can get to the left side but i cant get to the other side i try to use ranch but cant get to it lol oh well i try again i guess oh by the way auto place i called they sad they charge $330 for wat im doin right now

yep, they are probably charging for a couple hours of labor and the part plus some sorta of mark-up I would assume.

ya i finally got it i use one of them flex thing and use my hand to get it on the bolt and did it.... i was just being lazy i guess lol anyways ya ppl sometimes charge a lot for small things but thanks for the help !!! it works
