is it necessary to use threadlock on crank pulley bolt?

Don't see why it wouldn't hurt?

Get some of that red-stuff, oh so good. Just make sure you don't get it on any of your clothes, **** don't come out.

no

just put some grease where the Helms tells you to. I believe the Helms says to lubricate the top of the washer where the bolt head seats and the thread of the bolt. Thats what I did.

LOL, if you don't plan on ever taking it back off. Their hard enough to get loose without it.

just had mine impacted off by a shop. Couldn't do it with my breaker bar.

dont bother using it you will regret it later when you have to do a timing belt that bolt just gets tighter with time

just torque it to spec. doesn't need treadlock
