Default Trunk holes

I just recently bought my 99 accord coupe ex and the previous owner took out the spoiler so now there's about 8+ holes in my trunk, makes my car look bad. Would you guys recommend me buying a new oem trunk or repair them? or get a new spoiler? how much do u think it will cost to repair the holes?

Thanks

shouldnt cost much at all cause all it would take is bondo, primer, then paint/clearcoat. a local bodyshop should do it for you for pretty cheap

ur probably looking at around 300 to fix ur trunk. cheapest way would probably be getting another stock wing.

Yeah I'd get another oem (style) spoiler. You can get them fairly cheap from just about anywhere besides Honda.

usually you cant use bondo on trunk holes from oem spoilers, you have to weld them, so it costs a little more than you think.

this will look tacky up close, but from a short distance it won't be very noticable...but buy some electrical tape in a similar color to your car and cut perfect squares out of the electrical tape and just tape over the holes...it will be a price effective fix and won't cost a shitload, but again, it won't look the best up close...it will, though, keep the holes from rusting out...

if you can tape it on the inside and then fill up the holes with the bondo. its a lot smoother and just as price effective.

well, if he's talking about eight holes, than it's not gonna be the oem wing or anything close.

the cheapest bet would be a oem replacement that magically matched the color of your car, too bad the chance of it happening is clost to none.

i would advice against the using of bondo on the trunk, they will sink in and break consider the number of time that little bastard got slam daily.

Go get plastic push plugs in the same color as your car. That's what my friends use.
