True manual steering rack?
Anyone know if there is a company that sells a manual steering rack for a 5th gen Accord?
I would rather not loop the lines and add a breather as steering like that feels slower and heavier.

Re: True manual steering rack? (mdoyle)
i've been working on this with my friends car. We looked on the internet for hours, and we didnt find any, so i'm gonna say no to that. However, what we came up with is this. My friend took a spare rack from his EG hatch, and I took the inner tie rods from a parts accord I have. if we make some L brackets, it looks like the rack will bolt up. I used my dial caliper, and the shaft on the rack matches the steering colum, so I think it should work. i'll take pics if we ever get it in a car

Interesting, although in the end probably more work than I would want to do. Wish there was just a bolt up rack I could buy. Not even any for a Prelude that would work?
