Default Tranmission Fluid

Hi, I recently changed my transmission fluid month ago. I was told by a relative to change the transmission fluid twice to flush it out again. It has to do something with cleaning the inside. Should I bother flushing my transmission again? Is it worth the 9 dollars per litre? (3 litre required)

Flushing I mean by emptying out the entire transmission fluid and refilling it up.

Thanks in advance!

Default Re: Tranmission Fluid

The reason you were told that is because when you only do one drain, it only gets the fluid in the pan out, which is only a portion of the fluid in the whole system. To get the majority of the old fluid out, you have to drain and fill with new fluid (driving several miles in between each) 2 or 3 times to theoretically get most of the old fluid out.
