how do i replace the steering rack boots?
Hey guys so I removed my front crossmember and steering rack and noticed the boots are torn. I have removed the old boots and I am in the process of putting the new boots on. I'm having a lot of trouble trying to get them on though. Any advice or hints or tips or anything? I can't seem to slip the boot over the lip...

Please Help!!

I suggest go buy them from Honda dealership. ~$17 I originally bought them from auto zone and they were wrong sizes. It was frustrating. From judging from the pix, it seems you went with non oem, the same trouble I went through.
I had no trouble putting on the honda one.

I greased the inner side of the boot and it slipped on. I got my boot from auto zone and noticed an extra link. It just came with a plastic zip tie.

I'm having the same trouble on my '97 Accord. I bought aftermarket boots. I'm thinking if you couldn't get it on with entire rack off the car then I have no prayer of getting it on from under the car.
Would getting boots from the dealer make that possible?

I got them from Advance, probably the same ones at Autozone, they are tight to get on but they stretch over the opening to fit. No problems so far. I got them on with the rack in the car.
