Spark plugs: NGK, Denso, or Bosch and Platinum or Iridium
Hey just. I searched the forums and couldn't find what I wanted to hear.
Which spark plugs would you put in your car for power?
Bosch: Platinum +2,+4 or the new Fusion (iridium, 4 tip)
NGK or Denso.
And what material would you use?
Platinum or Iridium
I heard Iridium is the way to go. You produce more power.
I had Bosch +4 for the RSX and it was great. I had Bosch +2 for the Accord LX, and really good. I had Bosch platinum for the Accord EX and it was ok. I'm thinking towards Bosch, what do you guys think?

bosch in a honda??? ngk is the factory plug that the engine is designed to run on, and the bosch fusions are basicly iridium tipped platinum plugs, if you wanna get iridiums go ngk, but all you need is copper, or regular platinum.

NGK. Like the other guy said, thats what the car was made to run on. Bosch is the best for, I don't know, a Ford maybe.

I know Copper is like the best, but doesn't copper melt at a lower temperature than the others? Nevermind that, How long will copper plugs last? I did some researching on Google and some sites said the copper can last up to 7000 miles only. Is it worth the money from Iridium?

My Honda hated Bosch Platinums. started harder and actually ran more rough. the NGK V-Power with .040" gap make it start nicer and feels like it has smoother acceleration.

copper is not THE BEST. actually in todays market, it is far from the best. but for our accords, with a mostly stock engine, the NGK v-power copper plugs will work great because it is what it was designed for. i havent tried any other plugs, but like stated above, other people who have switched has reported decreased performance with more expensive plugs, such as platniums. if you really want to extract the most power possible from yoour motor and is willing to spend the money, i say to experiment with some NGK and denso iridums and platnium plugs.

Thanks guys for the input. I'm leaning towards NGK iridium IX. What will be the difference if I switch from a platinum to a iridium? Not much? Little?
