Default Skunk2 coilover problem??

Whats up everybody, I got a question that maybe someone can help me out with. I sold my Skunk2 coilovers to my friend for his 91 Accord. He has KYB AGX's on his car, and put the coilovers on. He said that when he dropped the front all the way, he still had a 3-4 finger gap in the front. I asked if he cut his bumpstops, and he said that he thinks there cut. Does anybody know what else could cause this problem, and what can be done to fix it?? Thanks alot

a friend of mine, with regular lowering springs, when installing, had put them in upside down on the passenger side, and what had happened is that the car didnt drop properly, perhaps the coilover is the wrong way up? im not sure if that makes a difference but its an investigatable avenue...i dont know what else it could be...

oh, he said the bumpstops might not be cut...or might be cut...so you never know, he has to be exact on that little piece of info...

nope the problem is with the skunk coilovers and the 4th gen accord. THEY SUCK!!! I had the same problem when i tried installing the skunk coilovers. You would think that when installed and seated all the way down your car would be slammed but no they have a big gap still between the fender and the wheel. I just installed Tein SS in my accord and drop is much lower if I wanted it to be plus the dampening is ajustable. its not the stiffest ride for road racing but it good enough. You can always revalve the Teins also if you need them stiffer.

So one more time... skunk coilovers SUCK!!!! on the 4th and 5th gen Accords.

Thanks guys for your replies. Yeah I know the Skunk2 aren't the best coilovers for our accords, thats why I got the Apexi WS coilovers now. If anybody has anything else to add, please do!!
