Should I replace lower tube seals?
So for my 1997 Accord, I noticed a considerable amount of oil in the spark plug wells, I ordered a valve cover gasket and tube seal set for the car. Should I change them out and pray that I don't need to change the lower seals under the rocker arms? Or should I wait until I get the lower seals and do it then along with a valve adjustment?

Im assuming you got a non vtec. It would be best to do it when doing the valve adjustment. Its good maintenance. Just make sure to tighten the locknut to specs as you finish each one. Also make sure there is some drag in the feeler gauge as you do each one.

Yes it is a non-vtec. I just got my gasket in today. I ordered a felpro gasket that came with the tube seals and cover grommets. What are these? Sorry for the size... Totally forgot how to reduce it.

Thanks, I'll see if the shop at my school has the appropriate feeler gauges.

Yeah the left o ring matches that. The middle one is made of metal with a hard rubber outer bit. Might be cam seal? The right looks like for maybe distributor? I'll poke around more to see what it could be..

Re: Should I replace lower tube seals?
So this is what it is: 1)Lower tube seal, 2)Cam seal, 3) Crank Seal. Not bad for less than $10 since I got all that and the upper seals and the cover gasket.
