RPMs climb very fast, loss of power...
Hey everyone, I need a little help with my 1990 Honda Accord EX. I have the engine swapped with an H23, and it roars.
So the problem is that lately, in every gear, my RPMs climb very quickly, even though I'm not going half the speed I would have been normally before this problem started. It's constantly redlining now, and very weak.
Thanks in advance for any help, I really appreciate it.

Well, that is what I was thinking that it is. It does not come out of gear, but my clutch doesn't seem to have "bite" anymore. It feels soft.. If you know what I'm trying to say. Also, when going from neutral to first, you can really feel the loss of bite. Then it's all downhill from there.

Clutch master cylinder is the hydraulic system for controlling the actual clutch disc/pressure plate setup.
If you can shift at all, just check CMC and clutch slave cylinder for leaks and leave alone if not leaking.
If you are really dreading replacing the clutch, I guess you could bleed the clutch hydraulic system, but highly unlikely this will have any effect.

It is what it is. It's the clutch. Change it before you overheat the flywheel. My friend drove his car with a bad clutch until it wouldn't move and he warped the flywheel.
