so i have to work on a 94 accord dx and i need to take the rocker arm assembly off to replace the spark plug O-rings beneath them. do i need to take the T-belt off to relieve the pressure on the cam shaft or will i be ok leaving it on?

Default Re: rocker arm assembly (wastedyouth2542)

The cam will be held in place by the timing belt and the distributor.
So to answer the question ....no you do not have to remove the timing belt.
You do need to use the correct torque on the rocker arm assembly because the caps act as journal bearings for the cam.
