Default radio code

my buddy's battery died and he cant get the radio code for some reason if anyone on here can help him out tell me

WHAT YEAR??
On newer models you can push the 1&6 buttons when turning on the radio to get the 'REF' number;

Older models you need the numbers from the sticker.

94-97 you can pull the ashtray shroud and see the numbers with an inspection mirror.

There is guy on the Acura RL/TL forum that gives out radio codes, he doesn't care who it was stolen from

yo i hvae a 94 accord, went to the dealer and they gave me 3 codes for my car and said just try em all. only one works...... somewhat.. my sterio beeps when i enter the code and the radio comes on but it still doesn't start and the lights still blink.. don't know what the hell to do

hmm...

when my code came up from the batt. dying...i took me about 50 tries, and after that it worked well

though...about 2 weeks later an aftermarket stereo was installed

have you called your local honda dealership?? they'll be able to get it to you in like 30 secs...idk if they charge or what

Shouldnt you have a card from when you bought the car with the radio code on it? i have a 6th gen and mine came with one.. If not call your local honda dealer and tell them your info and they will give you the code for your car... FREE of charge

no, most didn't come with a code card, go to a dealer, show proof of ownership, and bring the sn they'll give the code for free

why does honda have radio codes, do they think thiefs go around looking for shitty honda radios. its just a big pain in the ***. if a theif takes a radio its easy as hell to get a code.
