Quick H22 into 94 accord and vise versa
I came across a 92-96 body prelude with a H22 engine with it. It is boosted but has a blown block. I plan on taking that and putting it into my 94 accord ex.
I know the h22 drops into the accord just fine but would I be able to drop the f22b1 into the prelude with any additional parts needing to add?
Plan:
1. Buy prelude and another h22 block
2. Put boosted h22 into accord
3. Put f22b1 into prelude and sell it.

How much is the car selling for? It doesn't sound like the way to go since the block is already dead. The money that would be used for power adders, would just be used to rebuild it. Also, you don't know until you tear it down how bad the damage is. It could have BHG, bad valves or worse, a big hole in the block. LOL. If you have to spend more than $1k, walk away.

The car is $1k or less with the turbo kit etc. I am looking at the body and condition of the car today
Car was driven for 50 miles then boom..hole in the block

Sounds good. What's the cost for another block? You could part out turbo kit and fmic unless you plan on using it again?

I plan on using everything from the existing kit except for intercooler piping as I assume it will not fit. Everything else I will be using except for maybe the turbo because I have one from a previous setup on my ITR that is basically new.
I am just afraid of swapping the F22 into the prelude without problems...dont want to run into problems and have it cost me more money when I am just selling the car....
