questions regarding obd1 h22 swap
Hello hondatech long time no see! I am no newbie to hondas so please refrain from flaming me. First things first, I have swapped a h22 into a 92 hatch before and have also swapped h22s into 92 to 95 preludes, ok? So I have some questions regarding putting an h22 into a 96 accord ex 5 spd. I have searched ht and every other bs site on google and haven't found an answer yet.
So here goes,
Car is a 1996 accord ex 5spd.
I want to swap a ful H22 engine and trans into the fat accord body.
Doing the mechanical work is no problem and I need no help with that. What I would like to know is if the accord should get a obd2 jdm h22a and use the obd1 boomslang harness with a p13. Or if I decided to get a full obd1 h22A swap, what engine harness would be needed? I would like to know if a obd1 engine harness plugs into the 96 accord body plugs or whatever you want to call them.
I personally was going to just buy a jdm h22a obd2 engine and transmission swap from a 97 up and use my factory accord engine harness, and buy the boomslang obd2A To obd1 adapter harnessfor the p13 obd1 ecu.
But after looking at prices I see that the obd1 complete swaps are several hundred dollars xheaper. So my main issue is deciding what swap to buy (complete obd1 or obd2 swap). And what the easiest way to do this is. As I mentioned before I honestly think the obd2 h22 swap with the boomslang obd2a to 1 adapter to use the p13 ecu would be easiest. But if a obd1 engine harness will plug directly into the 96 accord I don't see why I couldn't just get the complete obd1 swap and stick it in there.
So if anyone can give me some insight it would be great. I have 4300 cash to spend on this swap and want to do it the easiest way possible, but in the end the engine must be running on a obd1 p13 ecu because lord knows I hate obd2. And lastly, keep in mind I am typing this from a phone not a computer so please don't flame for mis spelling it would be appreciated.

Re: questions regarding obd1 h22 swap
I have read all the faqs and none explain the engine harness issue. I have swapped H22s into preludes and a civic hatch before but never into a obd2 accord. I just need to know if a obd1 92 to 95 prelude engine harness will plug into a obd2 accord body plugs that go from the engine bay to the ecu. I don't know if you are being sarcastic or not but I admit the faqs are quite helpful but none explain about which engine harness to use. My gut feeling is telling me to buy a complete obd2 swap and just re use the obd2 engine harness from the F22b1, along with the boomslang obd2a to obd1 harness with the p13 ecu. I am trying to save money and do this all the right way.
Also I would like to get the h swap from somewhere in atlanta where I can pick out the swap instead of getting some beat down swap shipped to me. I am in macon and have no problem driving to atlanta to pick out the swap I want.
