Programing in-car remote garage opener
ive got a 2000 accord Ex...how do you store your remote garage opener code in it? I bought the car used, which=no manual so if anyone has a copy of the manual for my car, that would be helpful also.

Hold down the button you wish to program. Then hold the remote up to the Homelink buttons and press and hold the remote button. Keep holding until the Homelink light changes from a slow blinking to a rapid blinking. Test Homelink button.
If you push the homelink button, and the link stays on (instead of blinking), there is already a code stored. To reset all stored codes, hold down the 1st and 3rd Homelink buttons until the light changes. (I don't remember if it changes to steady-on, or blinking, or what.)

If your garage door uses rolling codes, than I don't think you'll be able to set it. You can try contacting the manufacturer of the garage door opener to see if there's a way to disable the rolling codes.

Oh, another thing I thought of...
You can try pressing the button of the new opener repeatedly, instead of just holding it down.

Re: Programing in-car remote garage opener (philadd)
i was talking to my dad about it, and yes it does have rolling codes, and i guess there is a way to set them to any homelink. something about it being a two step proccess, and you have to park the car under the garage door opener and do a few steps, alowing the garage door to learn the cars signal? or someting like that....How would rapidly pressing the remote butting while holding down the homelink button do anything different? (im not trying to disprove you by any means, just being curious)

I honestly don't know... But it's the only way I can get my apartment's gate programmed into anyone's car. I figured why not give it a shot...
I'll see if I can find some more info for you for the rolling codes.
